Cultural, Artistic & Heritage Programs


The All India Mising Cultural Foundation will organize cultural and heritage initiatives to preserve, promote, and celebrate the traditions, language, arts, and indigenous knowledge of the Mising community across India. This foundation will host programs such as the Abotani International Film Festival and the prestigious Minfa Award, aimed at recognizing exceptional talent in Mising cinema. Events like the Ali Ayé Lígang celebrations, Mising Handloom Exhibitions, Mising Got Talent, Mising Idols (Singing Platform), and Mising Songkí-So:yar (Dance Platform) will also be featured. To further enrich Mising culture, the foundation will conduct workshops to revive traditional Mising folk music and create platforms for promoting tribal herbal products and showcasing indigenous craftsmanship, while also celebrating the achievements of Mising actors.

The All India Mising Cultural Foundation will also organise social welfare and community development initiatives aimed at empowering the Mising community while celebrating Mising culture. The foundation will undertake various programs such as fund drives and humanitarian support for flood-affected Mising areas, youth awareness campaigns on drugs and narcotics, and community outreach activities. Additionally, it will promote educational and awareness programs along with initiatives encouraging youth participation and social responsibility.
